At the Southwestern Rottweiler club of San Diego on Nov 23-25 2007
Dottie on Friday got a 4th in standard and Q'd in jumpers. She got a double Q on Saturday and Q'd with a 2nd in FAST Excellent B. On Sunday she got a 1st in standard jumpers and a Q and a 1st in FAST.
Pebbles on Saturday got a Q in standard and a 2nd in Excellent B, a 3rd in jumpers, a 1st in FAST and a Double Q. On Sunday Pebbles got a 2nd in standard, a Q in jumpers, a 1st in FAST, and a Double Q. A really great weekend.

Noni had 3 Qs and 3 firsts November 25th at the AKC trial in Novice FAST, Standard and JWW. She weaved!

At the NADAC Trial on November 17 & 18 Noni Q'd in 4 out of 5 runs on Sunday at NADAC.& 1st and 2nd in Standard---we got our weaves! 3rd in Tunnelers and a Q in Chances. Thank you Sandy, I think we finally got the shoulder turn concept:

At the Golden Retriever Club of San Diego Trials on October 28 & 29 Meg, at her first trial ever, won 1st Place in Novice A FAST on Saturday and in Novice A Standard on Sunday. Although we didn't manage to qualify in the other events, it was still a very exciting way to start!

At the Golden Retriever Club of San Diego on October 28 & 29
On Saturday, October 27, while recovering from the effects of the Witch Fire, Sandy and Geronimo won the Excellent B 12-inch FAST class and Sandy and Hattie won and titled in the Excellent A 12-in FAST class (31.42 SCT 35 with 78 points)
On Sunday, October 27, Hattie won the Excellent B 12-in FAST class moving Geronimo (dad) to 2nd Place.

At the Golden Retriever Club of San Diego on October 28 & 29 on Saturday Dottie got a first in FAST and a second in Excellent B Jumpers. On Sunday she got a second in Standard and a third in Excellent B Jumpers.
Pebbles got a first in FAST and a third in Excellent B Standard. On Sunday she got a third in Standard and a fifth in Jumpers Excellent B.

At the Agility Club of San Diego's NADAC trial, October 6 & 7,Shayla Q'd in 8 of 11 runs with a new title in Novice Weavers on a first place run! She took a first and a second in standard on Sunday, 1st in Touch N Go, 3rd in Tunnlers, and a Q in Chances.
Wow! Theo is lucky he Q'd at all, but he took a 2nd & and a Q in Tunnelers. He did place in several runs, without a Q. Still learning.

At the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles on Sept 1, 2, & 3 Pebbles got a 1st in Excellent A FAST.
Bam Bam Q'd in Open Standard and finally earned his title.
On Saturday Dottie got a 2nd in Excellent A FAST and her title and Q'd in JWW. On Sunday she Q'd in Excellent B Standard. On Monday she got a Double Q in Excellent B Standard and JWW and got a 3rd in Excellent B FAST.
Very proud of all the dogs it was so hot 105 in barn. They didn't run as fast has usual but they ran really great.

At the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles' three-day Labor Day AKC Trial in over 105-degree temperatures, Geronimo Q'd all three days to attain his MX title and Hattie took a lst-Place Q the last day in Excellent 12" Standard!

Paris did great in her debut into the agility world of trials. We went in hoping for 1 qualifying event, something to show that we participated, and she left a true champion with enough ribbon to decorate our hallway wall...well as much of a champion as one could be as a CPE LEVEL ONE. We enrolled in all 10 events and qualified in every event except our first, which was a snooker.
We got 1st places in the Standard and Wildcard events.
We got 2nd places in a Snooker and 2 more Standard events.
We got 3rd places in the Fullhouse and Jackpot events.
I want to thank Melissa Almond, Jennie Brennan and Diane Walker for their assistance at the trial. They were a huge help. And of course, I have to pass on accolades to Sandy...this successful event is entirely reflective of her training and coaching.

We have not trialed since Silver Bay and this CPE trial was Shayla's first trial back since a leg injury.
Shayla moved to level 4 and Q'ed and placed in Full House, Standard and Wildcard - taking Wildcard with a 1st.
Theo Q'ed in Standard, Colors, Jackpot, Snooker and Fullhouse earning him 3 titles in Level 1 and moving him up to level 2 for his next trial. Our recent focus in class was visible in Theo's drive and distance work. It was GREAT!

Sam was entered in the CPE Trial at Rohr Park in August 18th & 19th. He took home 2 Q's in Standard and 1 in Jumpers. When he was on he was awesome. Way to go Sam!!

Drake was awesome at his first trial. It was a CPE at Rohr Park in Chula Vista August 18th & 19th. He was able to pick up 4 Q's, one in Colors, Jumpers, Snookers and Full house. 3 of them were 1st place. Way to Go Drake!!

Noni ran on Sunday August 19th at the CPE trial. She had 4 Q's and placed first in Level 1 Standard, Jackpot and Wildcard and placed fourth in Colors. Thank you Sandy for giving us the confidence to get out there and do our best!

Georgi got her Open FAST title at SCAT AKC trial in Costa Mesa and another Open Jumpers leg, respectively second and first.
Lizzie, making her debut, got three Q's in Novice FAST, JWW and Standard placing with two firsts and a second.
Barbara and Larry Emdur are proud to announce that Alfie and Brownie Emdur (bedlington terriers) advanced to Open Class both for FAST and Jumpers at the July 6-8, 2007 Wags to Wishes AKC Trial in Del Mar, California. Brownie finished in First place in FAST and Third in Jumpers. The submitted picture is of the proud brother having fun jumping!

Dottie got her first Double Q for two days in a row.
Pebbles was really great also, she got a 4th in Jumpers and on Sunday a Q in Standard. I messed her up on the other two runs.

On Saturday Pebbles Q'd in Excellent B Jumpers with a 3rd and Q'd in Open FAST with a 1st and a new title. On Sunday she Q'd in Excellent A FAST with a 2nd and in Excellent B Jumpers with a 3rd.
Bam Bam Q'd in Excellent A FAST with a 3rd.
On Saturday Dottie got a Double Q and on Sunday Q'd with a 3rd in Jumpers.

Highlights at the Memorial Day 2007 Southern California Portuguese Water Dog Club AKC Trial, LA County Fairplex:
Bruce and Tommy attained a lst Place Q and titled in 12" Excellent A Jumpers/Weaves and Q'd in Excellent B Jumpers/Weaves next day!
Lil (back with Sandy) titled with a 2nd Place Q in 8" Open FAST and next day was the only 8" to Qualify with a lst Place in Excellent A FAST!
And Sandy and Geronimo Double Q'd!

May 26 - 28 at the Porteguese Water Dog Trial in Pomona
Bam Bam got his Open FAST title.
Pebbles double Q'd on Saturday, had a 1st in FAST on both Saturday and Sunday, and Q'd in Jumpers on Sunday.
Dottie Q'd in Excellent B Standard on Saturday, had a double Q and a 2nd in Excellent A FAST on Sunday, and Q'd in Jumpers and had a 4th in Excellent A FAST on Monday

Georgi got her FAST novice title at the Cardigan Nationals May 14 & 15. Never could have done it without the instruction and courses on the distance work. On the last FAST run she acquired 59 points in 19 seconds. Thank u!!!

At the Southwestern Rottweiler Club of San Diego Trial (May 5 & 6, 2007), Diana Walker did a great job handling Bostons: Lil attained two lst Place
Q's in 8" Open Fast and Double Q'd with Geronimo on Sunday! (This was the first time Diana has ever run the Indian!)
Also, on Saturday Bruce and Sparky (PWD) attained the AXJ title with a lstPlace Q!

CPE Trial April 21 and 22
Dottie Q'd in 8 out of 10 runs. In Standard she got a 1st and two 2nd place. She got a 2nd place in Colors, Fullhouse, and Wildcard and a 1st place in Snooker.
Pebbles Q'd in both her runs, getting a 3rd in Jumpers and a 2nd in Colors.
Bam Bam got a 4th in Colors and a 3rd in Wildcard.

Noni got First Place and Qualified at the CPE event on April 22nd in Standard Level 1. It was our first trial. :)

Bam Bam got a first in Open FAST on Saturday and on Sunday a first in Open Standard.
Dottie got a Q on Saturday in Jumpers Excellent B and a fourth in Open FAST and her title. Sunday she got a second in Jumpers and Q in Standard.

Hattie got a 4th Place Q and titled in Novice B FAST on March 2, 2007, at the Fiesta Cluster AKC Agility Trial in Scottsdale, AZ.

At Silver Bay Kennel Club Trial, Feb 24 and 25th Shayla took the Elite Standard run for 20" dogs on Saturday, and then the Open Jumpers course on Sunday, both with First place and clean Q's. The new FAST class was all novice for us, with Shayla placing 4th on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday, by 1 point.
Theo is really starting to come out of his shell! He Q'ed in Novice FAST on Saturday and had 2 second place runs, a Novice Standard Saturday and a Novice Jumpers Sunday!

Bruce's Sparky was High Scoring Excellent A Agility Portuguese Water Dog on Saturday, February 3, 2007 and attained her Open Agility title on Sunday at the SCPWDC AKC Trial at The Grand, in City of Industry.

At the Portuguese Water Dog trial February 2 & 3, Bam Bam got his Novice FAST title on Saturday and on Sunday he got a second place in open 8" FAST. On Saturday and Sunday, Dottie got 1st in Open FAST and Q'd in Excellent B Standard.

At the City of Industry trial January 6 & 7, Bam Bam Q'd on Saturday and Sunday in Novice FAST. Pebbles got her title in Novice FAST. Dottie also got her title in Novice FAST and on Saturday she Q'd in Standard Excellent B and double Q'd on Sunday.
